A 17-year-old boy was fatally wounded Friday night on the South Side in the Englewood neighborhood, Chicago police
said.
Shortly before 7:30 p.m., the teenage boy was near the sidewalk in the 6900 block of South Ada Street when he suffered wounds to the chest and armpit area.

He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
He has not been identified as of Saturday morning.

No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
