A 32-year-old man stabbed over the weekend in Homewood died of his injuries, according to police.
At 3:01 a.m. Saturday, Homewood police officers responded to a call of a person stabbed in the 19100 block of Pierce Court, according a Homewood Police Department news release.

Officers found the 32-year-old man with a stab wound and officers and the Homewood Fire Department paramedics began treating him, according to the release.
The man was taken to Advocate South Suburban Hospital, where he died of his injuries, according to the release.
