Wrigleyville rooftops will be open for baseball season, but with restrictions due to COVID-19

The Ricketts family, which owns the team, acquired most of the rooftops surrounding the stadium in a series of deals from January 2015 through February 2017. The Cubs collect 17% of revenue from the few remaining rooftops that are not affiliated with the team, as part of a 20-year agreement reached in 2004. The rooftops had long been a bone of contention with the team, and subject to lawsuits over the years.
