Dawn M. Carden, 42, and her boyfriend, Alvino S. “Vino” Amaya, 36, both of Gary, each have been charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of Elijah J. Robinson, 18, and Maxwell Kroll, 17. Carden also has been charged with two counts of dealing narcotics and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
