Woman killed in Englewood when SUV runs red light, police investigate if crash stemmed from traffic pursuit

Just before noon Monday, two people were in a silver Chevrolet SUV that was traveling south in the 7300 block of South Racine Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood, when the driver ran a red light and hit a Jeep, which was driving west on 74th Street, according to Chicago police. The driver of the SUV lost control and hit a 43-year-old female pedestrian.
