The woman had been treated as a “Jane Doe” after an anonymous caller dialed 911 about 8:30 a.m. Sunday to report her body was in an alley in the 2600 block of West Gladys Avenue, according to Kellie Bartoli, a police spokeswoman. Monday afternoon the Cook County medical examiner’s office said she had been identified as Melissa Grilli, 34. Officials did not immediately release information on Grilli’s home address.
