In an email to county officials earlier this month, Olenek said she needed to hire 20 nurses, four registration clerks and eight nonmedical floaters. Other funding requests included money for medical supplies such as personal protective equipment, defibrillators, first aid kits and EpiPens as well as tablets, heaters, signs, traffic cones and flags.
