Samuel Flowers was arrested at 6:45 p.m. in the 5300 block of South Lowe Avenue, and facing charges of attempted first-degree murder, armed robbery with a dangerous weapon and a firearm, and aggravated battery of a police officer, Chicago police said. Flowers is scheduled to appear before a judge Thursday.
