Prairie fire in Chicago’s Brighton Park neighborhood ignites paper recycling plant, temporarily shuts down CTA Orange Line

The fire near 48th Place and Kedzie Avenue in the Brighton Park area, which was declared a level-one hazmat, ignited containers of acid, prompting the CTA to shut down power and suspending rail service to Midway Airport, according to a Twitter post from Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford.
