Peaceful group marches downtown to honor Daunte Wright and Adam Toledo, both killed by police

As helicopters hovered overhead, and protesters proclaimed their right to peacefully assemble prior to the start of the march, Judith and Jorge Garcia and their 7-year-old daughter, Abigail, a family from the San Francisco Bay Area who are visiting Chicago this week, said the event represents the second time this year that they’ve joined in one of the city’s protests.
