Officers were called to the 4400 block of North Western Avenue at 1:40 a.m. The 19-year-old had been the passenger in a black Ford Fusion when its driver and the driver of a black BMW, unknown model, “got into a verbal altercation,” according to the statement and police spokeswoman Karie James.
