The shooting occurred shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday in a parking lot next to a building in the 9600 block of North Greenwood Ave., just south of Greenwood and Milwaukee Avenues in unincorporated Maine Township, Cook County Sheriff’s Police said. The building is across the street from a CVS store in Niles and close to the Salvation Army store in Glenview.
