Obamacare enrollment reopens today, another chance for 400,000 Illinois residents. Here’s what you need to know.

An estimated 404,300 people in Illinois don’t have health insurance but are eligible for plans on the Obamacare exchange, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation. The Foundation also estimates that of those people, 51,300 qualify for subsidies so large that they could get bronze plans at no monthly cost to them. Nearly half of those 404,300 people, however, would not qualify for subsidies because they make too much money, among other reasons
