Northwestern University funding to help pay for minority business incubator, equity initiatives in Evanston

The money includes $400,000 for a Minority Business Incubator collaboration between the city and the university, according to the release. A Guaranteed Income Pilot Program, also known as Universal Basic Income, will receive $300,000 to “offer monthly cash payments to low-income Evanston households to supplement the existing social safety net.”
