No one injured when shots fired at Chicago police, officer returns fire in Calumet Heights, cops say

Minutes before 8 p.m., as two police officers waited “in a covert vehicle doing surveillance on a vehicle possibly involved in an ongoing investigation,” the officers saw three males get into the car, which had been parked in the 2600 block of East 92nd Street, near Colfax Avenue in Calumet Heights, according to a statement from police.
