Chicago police officers were called to the 1200 block of North Hoyne Avenue about 11:35 p.m. Wednesday to take the carjacking report. They learned a 32-year-old woman and her 2-year-old daughter had been seated in a 2017 Cadillac sedan when two men came up to the car and smashed the woman’s window with a baseball bat, according to a police statement.
