“They expected to win,” Valentine said. “They expected to go to the Final Four and make a run in the tournament. They weren’t just happy making it to the tournament, winning a couple games. They were excited, obviously, beating a No. 1 seed like Illinois, but they expect to keep going further because they’ve been there before. Once you’ve been there before, you want to go past what you’ve done. They’re going to be ready to play.”
