Following an investigation into the incident, led by the Elmhurst Police Department, it is alleged that an altercation between Bomba, Dunbar and a third individual outside the bar turned violent, and Dunbar stabbed Bomba once in the chest with a pocketknife, the State’s Attorney’s office said. A short time after the incident, Dunbar voluntarily went to the Elmhurst Police Department to be interviewed. He subsequently was arrested and charged.
