Of the school’s 461 students, 178 opted to return for in-person learning, according to district figures. With CPS also opening up elementary schools Monday to families who’d previously opted out, more than 121,000 students overall have now chosen to resume in-person learning, in most cases two days a week. Almost 140,000 students are remaining remote full-time, while about 17,000 did not respond to a CPS survey.
