“Hopefully we can get past this and get to a place where you don’t have to worry about close contacts and worry about guys getting COVID,” Hoyer said. “But right now it’s a reality and it goes back to the issue of depth — having as much depth as possible is really important. … We’re going to have, hopefully it’s not a situation like that, but we’re going to have injuries. Things are going to come up probably more often that they would in a normal season.”
