“The effort that we’ve had for April and May, we didn’t change anything and that’s encouraging,” Sox manager Tony La Russa said of the series. “Didn’t get overawed by the moment. That’s the point, we were ourselves. Had a real chance to win two. We should have won one, at least, if there was justice, but their team did better than we did three times.”
