The 3-acre Maggie Daley Park, nestled between The Bean and Lake Shore Drive, opened in December 2014. One of its myriad Play Garden spaces includes the Slide Crater, made up of spiral, wide, rail and other slides that land in an indented, craterlike area. Stretching above the other slides was the Tower Slide.
