Around 7 a.m. Tuesday, a trooper with Indiana State Police observed a westbound white Chevrolet Impala on I-94 near the 26-mile marker, at the Chesterton exit, allegedly traveling nearly 125 mph as it was weaving in and out of traffic, according to a release from Sgt. Glen Fifield, the Lowell District’s public information officer.
