Chicago philanthropist and investment manager, Richard Driehaus, dies at 78

“I was fortunate to begin my career with Richard 20 years ago,” Eli Boufis, co-Founder and executive principal of Driehaus Private Equity, said in a statement. “There was no better role model in investing than Richard Driehaus. He worked tirelessly for his investors, in part, because of his Horatio Alger-like story. Like everything else in his life, Richard earned his place among the most successful fund managers.”
