I’ll admit right away I may have some bias on this suggestion because I live in Georgia, but I would be interested to see the Bears trade for Jake Fromm. I know we were all stunned here to see him drop to the fifth round. Many of us thought he’d go late first or second round. The kid isn’t flashy, but he was fantastic for Georgia playing in arguably the hardest conference in college. If you recall, neither Jacob Eason nor Justin Fields could usurp Fromm. He can’t throw 60-yard bombs and he isn’t a running threat, but Fromm is smart. He was known for his ability to read SEC defenses and pick them apart. Those are the quarterbacks that persevere in the NFL. He’s been learning behind Josh Allen, so he’s not completely green. Best of all, it probably wouldn’t cost a lot to acquire him, so the Bears could still draft a tackle in the first round and give him some help. — Chris K., Warner Robins, Ga.
