Alexandra Betzel, a 31-year-old Albany Park resident, was sideswiped by a Buick SUV near Addison Street and Kimball Avenue while running to Home Depot for an errand Feb. 10, leaving her with serious injuries to the face, ribs and lungs. The driver of that vehicle, which was carjacked days earlier in an Aldi parking lot in the 3300 block of West Belmont Avenue, took off without stopping, according to police.
