Patrick Jenkins, 24, of the 900 block of N. Sherman Ave., was charged with first-degree murder in the Jan. 19 shooting death of Dyrek Coleman, 34, in a room at the Hampton Inn, 5201 Old Orchard Road, according to a Skokie Police Department news release.
