Residents Ford, Lewis, and Jackson walked a Tribune reporter through Concordia Place, sandwiched between the Little Calumet River and the Calumet Water Reclamation Plant, in mid-April, pointing out those concerns and improvements made since Rainbow/PUSH got involved. According to the women, residents again have access to the complex‘s playground equipment and weekend use of on-site laundry facilities, and they say threats of eviction, made despite a pandemic-related moratorium, have ceased.
