The Sox have the reigning American League Most Valuable Player in Jose Abreu, a Silver Slugger award winner and 2019 AL batting champion in Anderson, four of the top nine pitchers in American League Cy Young voting in 2020 in starters Dallas Keuchel (fifth), Lance Lynn (sixth), Lucas Giolito (seventh) and closer Liam Hendriks (tied for ninth). Add to that two rookie relievers with triple-digit fastballs in Michael Kopech, who is returning from Tommy John surgery in 2018 and opting out in ’20, and Garrett Crochet, who had a cup of coffee in September and the postseason.
