“As weird as COVID was, it’s good to be one of those teams that if we get to 5,000 fans a game we break even, assuming (sponsorship),” Whisler said at the time. “That’s a quarter of our stadium, so if we get to 5,000 seats we’re high-fiving. And if we get limited to 25% in COVID, we’re still doing great. It’s a tough time to have to fill a stadium to make your budget, to meet your needs.”
