Chicago man sentenced to 17 years for 2018 armed vehicular hijacking at Oakbrook Center

Darnell Anderson, 29, of the 4800 block of West Monroe Street, Chicago, appeared in court Friday in front of Judge Jeffrey MacKay, who handed down the sentence. Anderson entered a guilty plea, without a sentence recommendation, on Feb. 19 to one count of aggravated vehicular hijacking, a Class X Felony.
