Ross preferably will have two left-handers in his bullpen, and with Andrew Chafin a lock, it leaves Rex Brothers (non-roster invitee) and Wieck as the other lefties remaining in big-league camp. If the Cubs want to ride the hot hand, Brothers would be the guy. He has struck out nine batters and walked only one in seven innings this spring. However, should the team value roster flexibility, they can go with Wieck, who is on the 40-man.
