While Jagow worked as a cafeteria supervisor in Elmhurst Hospital, he allegedly entered fictitious refunds and then took that amount of money from the cash register, so the registers would balance at the end of the day, the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office reported. The thefts, totaling $218,630, allegedly occurred between Feb. 13, 2018 and Jan. 20, 2020, using a mobile phone and the mobile money identifier system, the state’s attorney’s office reported.
