Experienced, quality linemen are difficult to find in free agency, and the Bears will have to either pay for a replacement, go with a bargain buy and cross their fingers he doesn’t let them down or draft a replacement. In an ideal world, they could get a Day 1 starter with their first-round pick at No. 20. It’s a solid draft for offensive tackles, but if the Bears wind up using that pick — and perhaps more — to trade for a quarterback, they would have to choose a different route.
