Beach Park man charged in beating, choking and threatening of girlfriend, authorities say

Fontanez-Marrero punched, kicked and choked the woman and threatened to kill her, according to reports, before finding a pair of scissors, which he broke into two sections. Using one section as a knife, Fontanez-Marrero held it against the woman’s stomach area, authorities said.
