As the vaccine rollout moves forward and COVID-19 case counts fall from January highs, many travelers are itching for a change of scenery and starting to plan trips. Airlines are courting them with new beach and mountain destinations, replacing flights to cities popular with business travelers. That doesn’t mean jet-setters are back to their pre-pandemic ways. Even those ready to get back to vacationing are wary of shifting restrictions, avoiding long-range plans and weighing entirely new questions in choosing when and where to travel.
