“My pregame bullpen was horrible, but just goes to show that doesn’t really dictate how the game’s going to go,” Giolito said in a conference call Friday. “Looked at it like, ‘I’m warm, I’m ready to go, let’s bring some good energy into the game.’ Started off with a 1-2-3 inning and went from there, so it was pretty solid.”
