17-year-old charged with murder of two men in 2019 shooting in East Garfield Park neighborhood

The shooting happened about 10 a.m. April 10, 2019, in the 600 block of North St. Louis Avenue, near Ohio Street, leaving two older teens dead and a 29-year-old man in Stroger Hospital with critical injuries, as well as an 18-year-old shot in the chest. Larryon Brown, charged as an adult, was ordered held without bail in a hearing Thursday, said Tandra Simonton, spokeswoman for the Cook County state’s attorney’s office.
