The lone homicide was a shooting of a man who knew his assailant, which happened in Bucktown about 6:30 a.m., in the 1500 block of West North Avenue, authorities said. Police were called to a third-floor apartment where they located a 39-year-old man who’d been shot in the abdomen, officials said.
