Around 3:45 a.m., a semitrailer was stopped in the right-center lane on Interstate 294 north at milepost 18.7, near 95th Street, in Hickory Hills. Another semitrailer struck the stopped truck from behind, killing the driver of the moving vehicle, who officials said was pronounced dead at the scene.
